Medical Referral / Prescription

A medical referral from your general practitioner or pediatrician/specialist is required for physiotherapy treatment. Typically, 10 therapy units are prescribed. To receive reimbursement from your health fund, the referral must be approved by SVS or KFA prior to treatment. For ÖGK and BVAEB, prior chief medical approval is currently not required.

Payment & Health Fund Reimbursement

Payment is made after each session in cash or via bank transfer. At the end of a therapy series, you receive a cumulative statement to submit with your approved referral to your health insurance. You receive a partial refund from your statutory health insurance (exact refund amounts can be verified directly with your insurance provider). Remaining costs can be claimed through supplementary private health insurance.

Appointments & Cancellation Policy

Please arrive on time for your scheduled sessions. Should you be unable to attend, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so the slot can be offered to other patients in need. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be invoiced in full.
